RPS1000-A3 and RPS1000-A3 1500-M Rectifier Flatpack

The 3Com Legacy RPS1000-A3 (HP: JD181A, 3Com 0213A01S) and it's optional Rectifier RPS1000 A3 1500-M Rectifier Flatpack (HP: JD180A, 3Com: 0213A01G) has provided customers with redundant power for POE and non-POE switches in both the 3Com branded (part of HP Networking's E Series), and H3C Branded (Part of HP Networking's A Series) products. Due to component obsolescence, and unexpected sales increase, HP Networking is announcing the end of sale of the JD181A and JD180A and replacing them with products to be announced in October 2010.

These services help provide a highly secure and resilient wireless LAN that dynamically adapts to the demands of a mobile network. The ProCurve Radio Port 210, with integrated antenna design, provides a cost-effective solution for office-area wireless deployments that do not require IEEE 802.11a wireless client support.

» HP ProCurve Mobility Integrated Services Access Point MSM323 End of Sale Update

The HP ProCurve MSM323 Access Point integrates a full-featured MultiService Mobility Access Point and MultiService Mobility Controller in a single turnkey unit. They are used to create easy-to-use public/guest Internet access (hotspot) services. The zero-configuration service interface adapts to client device configuration settings. Bandwidth management creates multiple service tiers and provides users with fair access to bandwidth. The access points provide secure user authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA), enabling a wide range of free or fee-based service models. They support HTML and IEEE 802.1X login, and provide interfaces for centralized AAA, captive portal, and billing functions, allowing large multi-location networks.

With the availability of any of our HP ProCurve MSM APs and the MSM710 Access Controller, HP ProCurve Networking is announcing the End of Sale of the MSM323 AP. For the customer requiring a single radio only AP, the HP ProCurve MSM313AP is available. Our customers also have available the combination of any HP ProCurve MSM AP with the MSM710 Access Controller.

HP ProCurve SFP+ Direct Attach Cables Roll

The HP ProCurve SFP+ Direct Attach Cables (product numbers J9281A, J9283A and J9285A) did not meet the complete SFP+ specification. Therefore HP ProCurve has introduced the currently available (since June 15, 2009) B-version SFP+ Direct Attach Cables (product numbers J9281B, J9283B, and J9285B). HP ProCurve Networking is announcing that the last day the HP ProCurve SFP+ Direct Attach Cables (A-version) will be available is November 1, 2009.
