The certification will be unavailable after 1 November, 2010. If you wish to attain this credential, you must complete all requirements before this date.
Although it is not a requirement, it is highly recommended that you complete the training courses and their associated prerequisites in this order. It is not a requirement to complete the training to qualify for the certification exam.

Voice over IP (VoIP) has gained widespread acceptance in companies looking to reduce the cost of telecommunications between office locations.
A CompTIA Web poll of 2,198 respondents showed that VoIP was the hot technology most thought would have an impact in the coming year, with 34% of respondents listing it as their top choice.
Also, a recent TechIQ poll of 210 CompTIA members showed that VARs and systems integrators are reporting impressive response to VoIP at the desktop, particularly within such industries as financial services and healthcare.
Perhaps even more importantly, respondents report that VoIP purchases are poised for significant growth in 2006, both among existing customers as well as with potential new clients.
