On August 11, 2008, HP announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Colubris Networks, a Waltham, Mass.-based, privately-held global provider of intelligent wireless networks for enterprises and service providers. HP ProCurve plans to include Colubris' Wireless LAN product line as part of the existing HP ProCurve networking product portfolio by the end of 2008, giving customers of all sizes a broad choice of best-in-class networking solutions that meet their specific business needs.
